1. Acceptance and scope
Dallal ("the Platform", "we") operates a loyalty and rewards platform connecting salon and barbershop brands in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with their customers. These User Policies, together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, form a binding agreement between you and the Platform operator. Acceptance is recorded (date, time, and policy version) when you complete sign-up.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older (or have a guardian's consent) and provide accurate information, including a valid Saudi mobile number for customers.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, shared, or transferred.
- Customers sign in with Google and complete a short profile (name, mobile number, city).
- Brands must be lawfully operating businesses in the Kingdom and provide their Commercial Registration (CR) when requested for verification.
- Branch managers are customers assigned by a brand using their Dallal staff ID; they act on the brand's behalf at the counter and the brand is responsible for their use of the terminal.
- You are responsible for safeguarding access to your account and for all activity under it.
3. Loyalty program rules
- Visits and spend are recorded only when your personal Dallal QR code is scanned at a partner branch at the time of service.
- Rewards are defined by each brand (e.g. a free service after a number of visits or amount of spend). The brand — not the Platform — is responsible for honouring its published offers.
- Reward claims are confirmed at the counter by the branch. A pending claim expires if it is not confirmed at the counter within the displayed window.
- Visits consumed by a redeemed reward cannot be reused. Progress has no cash value, is not exchangeable for money, and is not transferable between accounts or branches.
- If a brand leaves the Platform or archives a branch, unredeemed progress at that branch may lapse; your visit history remains in your account.
- Fraud — including self-scanning by staff, fake visits, or manipulated amounts — leads to reversal of the affected records and may lead to account suspension.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Saudi laws and regulations, including the Anti-Cyber Crime Law.
- Do not attempt to bypass security measures, scrape data, reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with its operation.
- Do not upload content that is offensive, misleading, or infringes the rights of others. Brand content (names, logos, offers) must be accurate and lawful.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, with notice where feasible.
5. Brand obligations
- Brands must hold and maintain all licences required to operate their business in the Kingdom and keep their CR information current.
- Published offers must be clear, achievable, and honoured as described. Material changes to an offer apply prospectively and must not strip customers of progress already earned.
- Brands are responsible for their branch managers' conduct on the terminal, including accurate visit amounts and fair claim handling.
- Consumer-facing communications must comply with the Saudi E-Commerce Law and Ministry of Commerce consumer-protection requirements.
6. Subscriptions, payments and refunds
- Brand subscriptions are billed through our licensed payment provider (Moyasar) in Saudi Riyals. Prices include 15% VAT where applicable and invoices carry a ZATCA-compliant QR code.
- Subscription periods, limits, and prices are shown before purchase. Plans can be upgraded or downgraded from the Business Suite; changes take effect as described at the time of change.
- Fees for a started subscription period are non-refundable except where Saudi consumer-protection law provides otherwise or where the Platform failed to provide the paid service.
- The customer loyalty service is free for customers.
7. Personal data (PDPL)
We process personal data in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) as described in the Privacy Policy. In short: you can export your data and delete your account from your profile at any time; deletion removes your personal data and anonymises visit records. Brands see the loyalty progress of their own customers only.
8. Intellectual property
The Platform, its software, design, and trademarks belong to the Platform operator. Brand names, logos, and offer content belong to the respective brands, which grant the Platform a licence to display them for operating the service (including the public discovery pages).
9. Liability
- The Platform is a technology intermediary between customers and brands. Services rendered at a salon, their quality, and their safety are the brand's responsibility.
- The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Saudi law, our liability is limited to direct damages and, for brands, to the subscription fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
- Nothing in these Policies excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Saudi law.
10. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Platform at any time; customers can delete their account from the profile page.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Policies, fraud, legal requirement, or non-payment (brands), with prior warning where feasible.
- Sections that by nature survive termination (data, liability, governing law) survive.
11. Changes to these Policies
We may update these Policies. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect, with the new version date shown at the top of this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Policies are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to the competent courts and committees of the Kingdom. Consumers keep all rights granted by mandatory Saudi consumer-protection rules. Contact us first at support@dallal.life — most issues are resolved directly.
